It’s no secret that 3rd gen Toyota 4Runners like this SR5 are some of the longest lasting vehicles in existence. Neglected, these 3rd gens can outlast any other SUV for hundreds of thousands of miles. One could buy 1, 2, even 3 of another SUV and, still, this 3rd gen would be no where near ready to die. We have a few examples on our website: 500K, 600K, 700K —- with neglect and still going strong. They are the best SUVs ever built. Ensure the Unit You are Considering is Available Before Coming:
We encourage all buyers to please check our website to be sure if anything of interest is not sold — we try to update our website daily. However, often the vehicle may actually be sold and the website is not reflecting this just yet.  That is why we have 'confirmed' appointments.  What is a confirmed appointment?  A confirmed appointment is whereby you make an advanced appointment (eg, an appointment made on Wednesday for a Friday 10 am appointment) directly with one of us on the phone (contact info is attached here).  On the day of your appointment just as you are leaving to come here, please call us to confirm you are on your way, your ETA and to also check if the vehicle is sold (this is ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT for weekend appointments but also for all others as well).  If you do not call us to check if the vehicle is sold and to inform us you are leaving for your confirmed appointment and your ETA -- your appointment is considered 'not confirmed' and the vehicle may be sold and the shop may be closed when you arrive especially if it is after hours or on a weekend or early evening or early morning.  That said, it's 1) very important you call us as far in advance to make an appointment to see a vehicle of interest.  and, 2)  on the day of your actual appointment you must also call us to inform us you are still coming and you are on your way the day of your appointment as well as your ETA  to and this also confirms the vehicle is not sold (we don't want customers coming out of their way if the vehicle is sold).  Once you call us to confirm both and if the vehicle is not sold -- we will hold the vehicle, as a courtesy, until your expected time of arrival, provided you have followed the steps above and we thank you for paying attention to our appointment guidelines as we are just a small (but good!) specialty shop and there are only a few of us so we are very careful about appointment scheduling.  For customers coming from out of state we hold vehicles of interest to those customers provided they have a confirmed appt. and also follow the above. PLEASE NOTE: We like to take pics in several different light at different times of the day: early morning / sunrise, mid-day, and evening. We often feel that these subtle differences give buyers perspective of the appearance of some of our vehicles and the variations in color and light may help buyer see what the vehicle looks like all in all. All is aimed to help buyers “see” the vehicle as much as possible in different light before coming out to test ride it.  Also, if we note damage, please check all pictures carefully before arrival.
